Wins More Awards Than Any Other Organization in Competition
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (October 8, 2009) — Crosby Marketing Communications received eleven Best in Maryland Awards — more than any other organization — at a recent event sponsored by the Maryland Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
“We are honored to receive the recognition from our peers,” said Crosby President Raymond Crosby. “Combined with being the top winner in the Washington-area PRSA awards last month, it’s been quite a sweep.” From the Maryland Chapter, the agency received:
- The Chapter’s newest award — Best of What’s Classic & New, as well as three Awards of Excellence in Radio Public Service Announcements, Web Sites and Public Service for the “For Your Marriage Campaign,” an integrated, marketing communications program developed for the Catholic Communication Campaign.
- A Best in Maryland Award in Video for “The Future of Healthcare” and an Award of Excellence in Marketing Communications for “2008 Federal Open Enrollment,” two programs developed for Kaiser Permanente.
- Two Best in Maryland Awards, one in Media Relations and the other in Marketing Communications for “Launching a $500 Million Lifestyle Destination,” integrated programs, planned, designed and implemented for Greenberg Gibbons’ development of Annapolis Towne Centre.
- A Best in Maryland Award in Internal Communications for a Recoveries Video Update produced for DuPont’s Legal Department.
- An Award of Excellence in Special Events & Observances for the “Cup of the Month Challenge/Art Bra,” a breast cancer awareness program developed for the Anne Arundel County Department of Health.
- An Award of Excellence in Public Service for “Poverty Line,” a TV and radio campaign created for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
Presented annually, the Maryland Chapter of PRSA’s Best in Maryland Awards pay tribute to public relations practitioners who, in the judgment of their peers, have successfully addressed a communications challenge with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness.
