Crosby Wins Seven PRSA National Capital Chapter ‘Thoth’ Awards

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (September 28, 2009) – Crosby Marketing Communications has received seven Thoth awards — more than any other agency — at a recent event sponsored by the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

“It’s a true honor to stand-out as one of the best public relations teams in the Washington D.C. area,” said Crosby president Raymond Crosby.  The agency received:

  • First Place in Public Service Announcements, and Certificates of Excellence in Public Service and Websites for “What Have You Done for your Marriage Today?” a program developed for the Catholic Communication Campaign

  • Certificate of Excellence in Events and Observances for the “Cup of the Month” breast cancer awareness program, developed for the Anne Arundel County Department of Health 
  • Certificates of Excellence in Public Service and Public Service Announcements for “Poverty Line,” a program developed for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development

Presented annually, PRSA’s Thoth awards pay tribute to talent, creativity and innovation in public relations and communications programs in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
