As Director of Social Media & Content Marketing, Lindsey plays a lead role in creating innovative strategies to help clients build, engage and activate online communities. She works closely with Crosby clients to develop high-impact campaigns that leverage social media, real-time content marketing, influencer identification and engagement, as well as paid media tactics. She is also an active member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ (4As) Social Media Committee.
Prior to joining Crosby, Lindsey served as Vice President, Digital Strategy at Weber Shandwick in Washington, D.C. As digital strategy lead for The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Covered California, BAE Systems and others, she provided strategic counsel and creative direction on cross-platform marketing programs with a strong social media foundation.
Storytelling comes second nature to Lindsey having cut her teeth working the overnight shift at ABC News. During the 2008 presidential election, she was the lead political video producer at ABCNews.com in the Washington, D.C. bureau. Her assignment with ABCNews.com was preceded by two years working for ABC News’ This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
Lindsey is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a BA in Journalism and Performance Studies. When she’s not glued to TweetDeck or scrolling through her Instagram feed, Lindsey is likely reading The New York Times’ Travel section, taking in a musical theatre performance, or her favorite pastime, spending time with her husband and young daughter.
