Meredith is an expert in strategic communications and social marketing with more than 20 years of experience managing national outreach programs for federal agencies. As the co-leader of Crosby’s Government Practice, she directs strategy development, public and private partnerships, and multimedia outreach programs to engage and activate key stakeholders and the public.
Prior to joining Crosby, Meredith served as a Principal Associate at Abt Associates, an international research company, managing public health programs for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Prior to that, she was a Partner at Gallup Inc. leading a portfolio of federal clients including SAMHSA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Her award-winning campaigns and educational initiatives include increasing awareness of health insurance coverage for behavioral health conditions through the Affordable Care Act; managing formative research and strategic planning for tobacco prevention among adolescents; designing and implementing national campaigns for underage drinking and suicide prevention; overseeing multimodal data collection for the VA’s New Generation Study on Veterans serving in Iraq and Afghanistan; and coordinating national obesity and wellness programming targeting children and worksites, which reached over 1000 communities through a network of advocacy organizations and Fortune 500 partners for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Meredith is an adjunct professor with the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.
She received her MPH from the George Washington University School of Public Health and earned her BA from Purdue University.
