Crosby Takes Top Honors at ‘Best in Maryland’ Awards Gala

Crosby Marketing Communications has won four awards in the 2015 Best in Maryland awards competition of the Maryland Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The firm won:

  • First Place in Public Service Announcements for DAV’s (Disabled American Veterans) “Keep the Promise,” a multimedia PSA campaign designed to raise awareness for the national nonprofit organization that provides support to America’s 22 million veterans.
  • First Place in Out-of-the-Box for “Helping America Thank Those Who Served,” created for DAV. The social media engagement campaign utilizes a web app that enables the public to honor the veterans in their lives by creating a personalized video.
  • First Place in Social Media/Viral Marketing for “Empowering Facebook Users to Sign Up as Organ Donors,” created for the Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA). Leveraging industry best practices and research insights about diverse audiences, Crosby developed and promoted fun, visual Facebook content to build an engaged community and drive more Americans to register as organ donors.
  • An Award of Excellence in Integrated Marketing Communications for DAV’s “Helping Keep the Promise to America’s Veterans,” an integrated campaign of earned, shared, owned and paid media, which connected the public to DAV in record numbers by drawing on the deep emotional commitment Americans have to veterans.
