Crosby Wins Three Marketing Excellence Awards

Crosby Marketing Communications has won three awards in the 2016 Marketing Excellence Awards of the Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. The annual competition celebrated the most outstanding work in the healthcare marketing and public relations industry from the previous year.

In the competition, Crosby received two Gold Awards and one Silver Award:

  • Gold: Public Health Communications for “Don’t Flu Your Crew”, an integrated marketing campaign for Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States. The campaign used humor and multiple touchpoints to increase flu vaccinations among Kaiser members by 32 percent or 70,000 people.
  • Gold: Social Media for #MadePossibleMonday, a Facebook campaign for Health Resources and Services Administration ─ Division of Transplantation (HRSA-DoT) that encouraged people to register as organ donors. Every Monday, real donation stories were featured on the organdonor.gov Facebook page, resulting in three million organic impressions, 82,000 post likes, and 15,000 shares.
  • Silver: Broadcast Advertising for “Made Possible by an Organ Donor”’ a national TV public service campaign for HRSA-DoT promoting pediatric organ donation. In six months, the campaign aired 28,000 times and earned more than $2.6 million in media value.
